Duluth Trading Co

I have bought from them, though it has been several years.

I have a flannel lined canvas coat , some pants, a hat or two, some tool accessories...
Good company, good stuff. if you fall in the high end of the size range you might jump up one size as the fire hose will likely shrink. They are similar to carhart in that regard. I like the fluffy lining in that coat. I would call and talk to someone in customer service about the possible shrink factor first.

Well, Im fat, so Ill be XL either way. I don't know how often I will put it in the wash, or the drier, Im not a big throw-things-in-drier kinda person, in part bec of shrinkage.

I am fighting with myself over the hood thing. I like the length of the parka, but I hate the hood. But I am someone who wears a coat coat or no jacket at all and just a light fleecy thing.

My vote would be the one without the hood. Driving in the car with a hood can be very uncomfortable - it just rides up your neck!
