Thanks for those who helped me! https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/good-bridal-salon-in-the-la-ie-oc-area.83391/

I went for dress try on yesterday, and I would like some honest opinion.
First One
Second One
Third One
Fourth One

Can you tell which one is my favorite so far? Also, if I look good in any of the pictures, it's because I was wearing a 4 inch heel and standing on a platform

I really have short legs...

ETA: Oops, mistaken the link to the first one...

Hi choro72! i absolutely love the second one on you! that''s my favorite one by far!

I really like the first and second ones!

I like the first one the best. It has a nice long, lean silouette without being overwhelming for your petite frame. You could also add more detail with a beaded or lace veil.

Just my two cents!

Another vote for the second one! So pretty and flowy, I love it on you. The first one is my second favorite. I''m not really a fan of the red on the third one, and something about the fourth one just seems to overpower your tiny figure.

i LOVE the first one--it flatters your face and figure without overwhelming you.
i''m not sure with the second one and definite NO to third and fourth one.

NUMBER ONE!!! its my favorite on you...where do you go to try on dresses?

definitely number one! it looks really proportional to your body.

i can''t tell what number two looks like from the front so hard for me to judge that one

really not feeling number 3 or 4 as i don''t think they flatter your figure

I really like #1

I vote for the second one. So elegant and pretty!

i LURVE number 2 on you--soooo pretty@

One or two look great. Different looks, but both flatter you very much. You look very delicate in number 2, so I think that one is winning for me. NOT three or four-- they are overwelming I think.

Ditto ringster...I personally love #1, but I love that tailored look for me. I''m not sure it fits you in terms of style though, but in terms of fit and not overwhelming you, it looks best, IMO.

Obviously you love #2 because you''re grinning ear to ear and it''s very classic bridal...and very pretty on you. It''s just so much dress on such a petite girl, ya know? Is there a sheath dress similar to #2, but with a smaller train like dress #1? Perhaps that would be the perfect happy medium? Either way, you look lovely dear!

No 2 is a very romantic look on you. No 1 is pretty too if you want a more "modern look".

Dress 1- very pretty and flattering.

Dress 2- love it... even more flattering than the first one.

Dress 3- pretty... I do like red but I just think it''s taking away from you. Flattering dress, though.

Dress 4- no. It''s a pretty dress but it''s totally wearing you. It looks too heavy on you. There''s too much going on at the top for you... the more delicate bodice of 1 and 2 seem to compliment your frame better.

My vote definitely goes for the second one! Gorgeous!

choro72, I like #1 and #2, but it''s hard to tell which suits you better because you''re standing on the platform. I think the only way you can tell is by taking pictures with your heels on, but not on the platform (because you won''t be on a platform on your wedding day). Being a petite Asian girl myself, I found that all the dresses looked very nice in the bridal salon when standing on the platform (especially the ones with long pretty trains). However, when standing on flat ground, some of the trains were just too overwhelming for my petite frame. Did you see Eva Longoria''s wedding photos? Despite her wearing killer high heels, the train of her dress was just too much that it looked overwhelming.

In the end, I didn''t chose a figure-hugging dress with a short train, and I''m happy with my choice. It made me look slim and taller in the photos/video. Puffy dresses are a no no for short Asian girls IMO. Just my 2 cents.

Good luck!

Number 2 is vavavoom! Absolutely beautiful on you.

can''t decide between 1 and 2, both look amazing on you!

I love #1 on you!

I love #2. I feel like 1 shortens you and doesn''t do as much for your figure. I love the red in the third, but the dress does look overwhelming. It is a bit hard to tell about the 3rd and 4th because they are clearly MUCH too big.

I think one and two are both lovely - I think either would be wonderful, it just depends on what look you are going for - one is more tailored, and two is more ethereal and delicate.

Another vote for #1. I think it''s very flattering and you look beautiful!

Ditto! It looks so regal.

Wow, 2 hours and I got so much response...Thanks everyone!!

I''m glad you all have the same taste as I do. I''m torn between #1 and #2 now...#1 is cheaper, but the picture on #2 really doesn''t do it justice. It''s so gorgeous without making me disappear in the dress. I was shocked at how I looked, because I thought that at 4''8", I will need a super simple dress to not have the dress overwhelm me. By looking at pictures I thought #3 was going to be the one. But even with all the beading and lace on #2 I didn''t feel diminished.
#4 was something that the consultant just pulled out...I would have NEVER chosen it

This was at David''s Bridal in Redondo Beach. My mom is visiting from overseas, and it''s probably the only chance I get to do this with her. We''ll go to some other bridal places on Tuesday, but so far #2 is our favorite but out of my budget. I love #1 too, so I will be completely happy with it

The only problem is to my mom, the corset back makes it looks too much like a lingerie. You can tell she is out of loop from the modern wedding world

I vote #1 or #2. Both are gorgeous on you and don''t overwhelm you in the slightest!

Wow, you look SOOO amazing in #2. I wish you had a more full-on frontal pic., but from that angle it looks perfect. How full is the skirt?

Your number 1 is the dress I was "this close" to buying myself. It is very flattering on you, but I just love how romantic the lace of the second one is!

I think number 3 could be a contender if you have your heart set on having color in your dress, but it''s not my favorite.

I think #4 totally overwhelms your petite, gorgeous figure.

Dress#1 Very pretty, delicate. seems to fit you nicely giving a very cute hourglass look. nice bust.

Dress #2 Very delicate. I dont normally like this style but i think it looks very nice on you. cant see too much of your figure though, it might hide your curves

Dress#3 Not a bad dresss. it just looks kind of plain on you. A line is flattering. but it just seems not delicate enough on you. like the fabric looks to heavy (if that makes sense)

Dress#4 i like this one the least. you look shorter almost (could be because you are holding it up) the pic doesnt look very flattering. It really seems to emphasize your hips and lower half.

Oh i just read what you said about shoes. were you not wearing them in #4?

I love the first one best, then number 2. I usually love dresses with colour like number 3, but the red really doesn''t work with your skintone.

You look like the quintessential bride in number 2, plus you look really happy in it! I''d say that number 1 looks equally good on you, and with a veil you''d look just as bridal.

#1 is my favorite. It really showcases "you" and makes you shine. #2 is nice but it''s a lot more dress than #1, and I think you need something simple and elegant like #1, without too much lace/embroidery/fuss going on. You are a very petite and beautiful young lady and #1 is perfect for you, imo. #3 and #4 are way too much dress for your frame, all you see is the dress when looking at the pics, it''s hard to notice YOU! (they are all lovely choices, though! I can see why you chose them.) Good luck with your decision!
