Dress too "bold" for work?

Hi PSers,

I saw this dress on the BR website. I have too many black dresses and thought that it looked nice in red but it's a rather bold color and can come off as "sexy." Is it too much to wear to the workplace? I like to find dresses that are suitable for work but can also be a great date night dress.

Depends how you wear it and what your workplace is like? You could wear it with low heeled pumps, jacket and strand of pearls for the conservative look - then for evening, the high heel sandal style shoe, no jacket and a statement necklace. Just my thoughts but I think I'm much older than you so I don't know the office trends of today.

Finally got a chance to try on the dress over Labor day weekend. Very strange material. Not flattering and glad it was such an easy decision not to get it.
