Wrong heading - It is about dreams that we see when we sleep.

At 16, I saw myself as a European woman, dressed in white, married to an Arab guy and sitting in a lobby of a glitzy hotel in Saudi Arabia (IRL, a girl living in Moscow having no idea about hotels in Saudi A.). There were several TVs in the lobby and I saw a guy dressed in black appearing on the screen and saying that the whole Muslim world had sustained a big loss...It was very vivid, and I told my then BF about it. Three days later, my father read in a newspaper that the Grand Mufti of Central Asia had died (it is a high position in Muslim world).

Each time I saw such a dream, I knew it would happen. I saw my first son when I was probably 3 days pregnant, and he was blonde, blue-eyed, a boy. So when I found out about pregnancy, I had no doubt it would be a boy.

My second child I saw in a dream 11 years before I had him! Only I saw a girl, from a distance, and my father was holding her by the hand. Years went by, and I started thinking it was "just a dream", but then we had this child! Only instead of "Anna" according to my dream we had "Peter". Since we were old parents, with slim chance of pregnancy, I think it was meant to be. My mother died by that time, so it made total sense for my father to hold the child's hand.

My mother had a very serious disease that could be a forerunner to her leukemia several years later. Two days before it developed, I saw me and my mom getting into a pool of mud. I pulled her out and we continued walking, and I asked "are you OK", and she said, "yes, but my legs are all dirty". Her legs were covered with dirt. Her illness started with horrible leg pains and cramps. Later my German friends got me the drug that virtually saved her (when we were not sure that she would survive, I would remind myself, that in my dream I pulled her out of the mud).

I mostly see these things when the wheels are already in motion. The reason I know they are special is because they are vivid, "in focus". When I see these dreams, I tell my family about them; when it happens, they remember.

I had one dream that I thought would mean something but it has not yet happened. Maybe it was not meant to be. The other one, about my son and his ex-GF, definitely was not meant to be.

I am not too superstitious and believe in science. The only reason I post it here (it may sound unusual) is because I believe these things happen to everyone. Maybe someone will share his/her story?

u should really read up about telepathy and predictions...in my psych class my teacher talked about it one day and got a huge backlash from the scientific students but ud be amazed at how many ppl stayed after class :) i was one of them...i wish i could remember their stories...

its 3am so im trying to remember some of my better ones...mostly with me its feelings...the one i remember most vividly was i was about to leave for work and i just felt like i couldnt go yet...really random right? so i sat down for 10 minutes and the feeling finally let go and i left for work...its a 30 min drive down the hwy to work...well sure enough there was a 4 or 5 car pile up ahead of me on my way in...freaked me out

but really im better with telepathy than predictions...i often know when my husband will call or get home because he will randomly pop into my head when im busy doing something and within minutes hes home or calling..it happens most with him and my mom...we call eachother at the same time a lot too ;)

and some ppl will say oh its a coincidence..i had a college roomate like that so we took out 2 decks of cards she looked at them and i guessed the color...at the end i think there were 5 or 6 cards in the wrong pile...all of the rest i guessed right..now whats the statistics on that?? needless to say she was convinced...i have actually heard someone elses thoughts before...but it doesnt happen very often...apparently the more you practice the better you get...

ur predictions sound very cool..i can never remember my dreams but i dont think i ever dreamt something that came tru ;)

That happens to me sometimes, I'm pretty sure they're called Precognitive dreams.
I feel like I used to get them more often when more things in my life seemed to change, like I would have a dream about being somewhere and then a few months later we would move and I would be in that setting that I dreamed about.
But I don't recall having any recently. But when I do have them, I have a hard time remembering them until it happens.

This doesn't seem to happen to BF and he kind of thinks it's silly when I tell him about a dream that happens. You're not alone though!

I had two very creepy dreams that came true, and both involved horrible plane crashes. I saw the Buffalo crash in my sleep, the day before it happened, as if i was watching from a hot air balloon above the plane.

Few months ago when the Indian crash happened, I saw it in my dreams the night before as well. That one was so vivid I was able to see the seat configuration, the back of people's heads, and which seats were occupied, as if i can see thru the top of the plane. I saw how the plane crashed. When I woke up, i rushed to my laptop to see if anything was reported.. nothing. That nagging feeling stayed with me, and when i told a few people about it, they told me it's just a dream. Then that evening when i was eating dinner, CNN reported there was a crash. It was the same type of plane, and the accident was exactly as i saw it. :(sad

I dont ever want to have these dreams again.

I don't necessarily think this is a "dream that came true" but maybe more a "dream after the fact," but it always stuck with me. My mother's grandmother died a few months before I was born. She was very beloved by my mother, and when I was young my mother showed me a few pictures of her and said how she wished we could have met her before she passed away. When I was ten or so I had an extremely vivid dream of walking through my great-grandparent's house and seeing my great-grandmother sleeping in the guest bedroom off of their living room. I walked in and she opened her eyes and smiled at me, and I woke up. About two years later my great-grandfather passed away and my mother and I were sitting in their house sorting his belongings, reminiscing about them and she said "I always loved this house, I wish it wasn't going up for sale." And I said how much I liked it too, but that I always thought it was strange there was a guest bedroom off the living room. She said that wasn't always a guest bedroom, it was just converted to one when my great-grandmother became ill and she used it as her bedroom for the last few weeks of her life, and actually passed away there.

The pragmatist in me says it is probably just a coincidence, that my baby brain heard somebody mention it once and stored it away, and I have never had any other strange dreams or premonitions, but gosh, wouldn't it be nice if it were real?

Several times, I've been doing something and felt a sense of deja vu, and then realized that I had dreamed about the very thing that was happening. But it has always been very mundane stuff, never anything really exciting or important.
