So... if you won the lotto jackpot (640 million!!)

What would your first bling purchase be? And what other bling purchases would you indulge in. And what would your mental bling budget be for yourself for your initial outlay.

My first bling purchase would be either a HONKING OEC or a HONKING sapphire. I'm not sure which. Custom platinum ring.

My other purchases would be a pair of studs, and a diamond band. I'm thinking 3 ctw. H SI1 for the earrings. And for the diamond band, something like the Aurora only with some tweaks.

My initial bling budget would be around 100,000 to 150,000 for those three pieces.

I don't know if that's indulgent or conservative.

Your turn. Dream bling for me:

Just running off to work, so I am sure I will add to my list later. :naughty: :naughty:

For me it would be a HUGE step cut solitaire. Probably Asscher or Octavia, so I could just lose myself in the hall of mirrors.

No side stones, no matching band. Just huge step cut gorgeousness.

:wavey:

Ruminating over the multitude of possibilities, but off the top of my head, there would be a pink diamond involved, bright white side stones and a setting TDF! No specific design in mind... I just know, with a budget of $250,000 - $500,000 (that would be my first round of bling spending!), there will be some SERIOUS sparkle action! 8-) 8-)

Pretty sure my .87 cttw studs may see a bit of an upgrade. Yup, I'm confident they will become my DD's and mine will become "slightly" larger.... to the tune of about 2cttw and a variety of jackets. :appl: (Geesh, suddenly that just sounds so normal when you have a big budget... hmmm. I'm gonna have to up my game here... 8-) )

Oooh one GIANT step cut. Delicious susimoo. I'd add this to my list if I wanted a honking step cut: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-leon-upgrade-emerald-cut-with-french-cut-sides.173652/#post-3160009#p3160009

Enerchi -- I told my DH that your budget was MUCH more realistic than mine and I'd need to adjust upward. :Up_to_something: A pink diamond huh? Looks like I need to add a lovely fancy yellow to my list, since you reminded me of my first engagement ring love (fancy yellow three stone with white sides). YUMMY!

I have to adjust my post. There is a moonstone necklace here locally. If I won the lottery I'm pretty sure I would just call the vendor and tell them to wrap it up and hire a messenger to drive it over for me. Seriously. I love it that much.

Here it is... this would be my first purchase.

fun!!

hmmmm... an eternity with french cuts, .7 ctw D/E/or F studs, a simple platinum RHR (bezel maybe?) with an octavia around 1.5-1.8cts, another platinum RHR with a 1ct F color AVC with sapphire sides stones, and a three stone diamond ring (alternate ering) in platinum with a 1 - 1.25 AGS0 H&A D color center and sides. oh, and maybe one last RHR with a blue sapphire pear in a halo by victor canera!

now, where'd i put that ticket?!

an F VS1 3ct rb for my left hand and a 5ct F VS1 Octavia RHR.

I'm sensing that you like variety, high color stones, and sapphires. :twirl: Delicious list.

DF-- only if you promise me you'll take a picture of you on a throne like chair pettting a white persian cat. I can see it now!

Gypsy love that moonstone necklace!!

Oooh, where do I begin?

Some necklaces to begin...
first one
AN IMPORTANT DIAMOND NECKLACE, BY HARRY WINSTON

second one: anything sofia is wearing...or everything perhaps... :cheeky:

third pic- wouldn't mind these little earrings to wear around the house...or the yacht. :naughty:

fourth pic...drool drool drool...a simple bauble to wear at the market.

WOW go big and creative or go home! I love the creativity and variety of your bling pics. I especially love those amazing earrings and the necklace with the Pads (and I don't even like pink!).

Fabulous choices and I ADORE the fact that you included pics!

PICS are a fabulous addition.

Oh, I LIKE this game.

First up: this string on opal beads, for a cool 168K.

It is rare, and beautiful, and from M.S. Rau, and I wants it, precious.

Then: a pair of gorgeous OEC earrings, probably from M. Khordipour. Seriously, throw a dart at this page, and something between 20 and 200K will appeal to me: http://www.mkhordipour.com/estate/earrings.html

After that, I'd drop by La Vielle Russie, and just stuff my pockets.

I think I'd also want to get this gorgeous turquoise hair ornament for 9K from the Three Graces, for days when I couldn't wear my tiara.

Did I not mention the tiara? I haven't pinned it down just yet, but ... there MUST and SHALL BE a tiara.

Missy, you reminded me of one of my designer loves. The Canturi Cubism Bracelet.

Ooooh. Gorgeous! Want to see more! What's at La Vielle Russie? I've never heard of them.

I adore good turquoise. Those Opals are just :o .

These are kinda of fabulous: http://www.mkhordipour.com/estate/earrings/4012.html

They are my most favorite shop to window-gawk, even above Fred Leighton. They're on the corner of 59th and 5th at CPE. Here's their 1stDibs page ....http://jewelry.1stdibs.com/jewelry_search.php?FRID=aWqX

Seriously, that Tiffany ring in the second row? I'll take TWO.

OMG...that is just possibly the most gorgeous bracelet I have ever seen! Oh Gypsy I think I will be dreaming bling tonight for sure LOL. Though that doesn't make it too different from most nights for me. I swear I have the most blingy dreams. It's like I have jewels on the brain or something. :cheeky:

Circe love that opal necklace...but how delicate must you be in handling it? Opals are so soft. Still, love that necklace!

Oh my gosh, it's kind of overwhelming to just think about it! Can you imagine being able to buy basically anything that struck your fancy? I think that would be the most fun thing! But I would start out with

- a 3 carat OEC solitaire
- OEC studs (big ones!)
- 4 carat total weight diamond huggies
- OEC 5 stone band (a big one! :cheeky: )
- Tiffany legacy

Geez, even as a multi-millionaire I'd be kind of conservative! But I'm sure I'd be able to come up with lots more as time went on!

I'd pick up this from Harry Winston: maybe a 2.5 carat center with 1 carat each sides. :naughty:

Then, because I still love a good solitaire, I'd spend the money on a *real* Tiffany 6 prong solitaire. I know Tiffany is a rip off, but the Tiffany setting still gets me every time. I just don't love the replicas as much. 4 carats would be nice!

WOW. I think I'm in a bling comma-- I've never looked through that site before. That sapphire ring is to die for. I'd need a hand transplant to wear it as I can't carry of east west sapphires. But here are a few that caught my eye:

You found me my OEC ring, thank you. Here it is: http://jewelry.1stdibs.com/jewelry_item_detail.php?id=47434

Here's my Dream OEC ring. Courtesy of Circe:

Laila, we can go to Tiff's together! Instead of walking out with a little blue bag, I'd be walking out with a big 'ole blue shopping bag!

Course I would have called ahead with my wish list complete with specs! Why waste their time looking at stuff I don't want?

I would get two matching 1.5 ct l/m oec's to make an amazing 3 stone with my 3.62 I have. It would cost an arm and a leg to find them, but hey, with a few hundred million I wouldn't be too worried about the cost! It would be some pretty nice finger coverage on my sausage finger! (8.5 :nono: )

Hmmmm, what else....

3 ctw oec bezel earrings

Omc RHR, maybe from single stone? :lickout:

1-2 ct oec pendant

Dbty bracelet and necklace with OECs or OMCs

With that list, I would be in old cut heaven! :D

And Laila, after you and Miss Gotrocks are done at Tiffany's, you and I can to on to Harry Winston and pick up 2 of those three stones! I hope you don't mind if I get the same sized stones as you! :cheeky:

Actually, I could go to Tiffany's with you to pick up my Legacy - Oh, it's fun to dream!

I have to say that if I won, I'd probably have enough to invite everyone on a shopping spree. :appl:

Now that you mention it. That's a great image isn't it? We would need pics of you doing this. Wear a velvet blazer or bustier. The occasion would call for it.

I think I would just go nuts in Lang's and Fourtane. NUTS I tell you. Jewelry of every kind.

I'd buy DH a bunch of awesome watches, too. I don't know anything about watches but I will definitely be learning!

Then I would buy something for my mother. The jewelry of her dreams.

I think I would manage to find some room in my winnings to buy some of my dear dear PS friends a piece, too. I've made some lovely friends in the last 3.5 years and I'd love to show my gratitude to them with something pretty.

It totally is. I put it on and wore it for 20 minutes and my head was screaming "MINE!" But alas, I had to give it back. Reluctantly and with a lot of backward glances.

I would have to work my way up too. But I suspect PSers would be happy to help me figure it out. Enablers the lot of you.

OMG Definitely. My real life PSer friends would be right next to me and get a lovely piece, engraved with my thanks for your love and support.

Clairi we would have a blast at Langs. Can you imagine. I'll bring the champagne. I don't think I've been to Fourtane . Have I? Is this something we need to remedy?

Before buying individual pieces, I want a set of VS1+ H&A rounds in D-Z colors, preferably around 2 ct each. I have no idea how much that would cost, maybe half to one million?
