So, I have this diamond on hold.

The one on the right is the 1.93.


Adam has told me that this diamond is unbelievable and a real fireball. While, I don't doubt him, I was wondering what people think on here.

I have some time to kill before I'm able to see this diamond. I got to take a look at the 1.66ct M from JBEG but it was a little bit too warm for me. It was a BEAUTIFUL diamond but not for me. It's still on my short list but for now, but I would like to keep looking. So, it got sent back and I am waiting for the funds to become clear so that I can get this diamond in my hands to view.

So, while I waiting... could I get your thoughts? Please?

Thanks LJL! I'm glad you did! I'm happy cuz the diamond that pleases my eye the most in the pics is the 1.93! Are you working with Jon at GOG too? Did you get to see the 1.93 in person?

The diamonds in the pics arrreee- the pic of the hand is the 1.66K and the 1.93L, the three in a row are the 1.66K, 1.80L, 1.93L. I didn't see any of them in person. But yea, now I'm working with Jon at GOG right now - Im the person who requested the stones he filmed in his latest video (the 7.5mm, slightly warm OEC vid). We are gonna be on our second batch of stones this week.

You think you'll get the 1.93? I liked it a lot from the pics I saw.

That stone looks completely awesome!! The patterning in those pictures really reminds me of my 3.33 that I got from Adam, something about the shapes of the facets...I just love my stone. I would totally call this one in to see it. I have an EGL K and it's more like a GIA M to me in this particular instance, but in some lights it's SO white and bluish, but it is not supposed to have fluor. These old stones are such chameleons. Good luck!

Haha that is hilarious! I really do love that stone. I take pics of it almost every day in the car with my phone, it's insane the personality that it has and the colors it throws. The instant I saw that pic of yours Ithought 'heyyyy'. So I really hope you are able to see it and that you love it!!

Me too! Now that you said that it reminds you of your stone, I can't wait to see it. I thought I had the patience but now I think "it looks like Mara's! The OEC that I compare all OEC's to" and I feel I may burst...

YES. In fact I feel like in real life the colors are even more intense than photos can even capture. That is why I often grab my phone on my way home to try to snap non-blurry pictures while still keeping my eyes on the road, it's amazing any of them actually come out. The colors that I see in this stone are at times ridiculous. Someone on FB PS the other day asked about pastels in OEC's. I find that the larger OEC's also really flash wider swatches of color due to the sheer size of the facets, just so appealing. I really feel quite lucky to have found this stone given it's size and excellent condition. I really hope you find your amazing beauty too (and kind of totally hope this one is it lol).

Jon has an 1.9 M that has excellent light return on the Megascope. But you probably have seen it.

The reason I didn't buy didn't really have anything to do with the stone itself. but it is quite nice! The 1.9M from GOG was called in for me. It is INTERESTING. It has excellent light return and all that - and is a GREAT price- but it doesnt look like an OEC. The facets are thin and splintery in the center so its basically like getting an MRB w/o perfect arrows but great light return.

That's what I told Jon too. That the table facets look splintery and that it wasn't pleasing to me even tho it had great light return.
