New season starts Sunday!!

Anyone else have their DVR set? :appl:

Can't wait can't wait can't wait!!!

Is it weird that sometimes I wish I could erase my memory and watch it again? There's some books I wish I could do that with.

I don't watch TV, but I love Netflix.

I'm so mad that Netflix does not even have DA season 2 yet. :angryfire:

Really? I swear that's where I caught up on the episodes....

Thanks for making me look closer, because Netflix does offer all 3 seasons on DVDs, 3 for each season. :appl:

It shows that 25 episodes (which I believe comprises all 3 season) which I assume should be streaming, but I can't navigate beyond episode 7, the last episode of season 1.
When you finish, say season 1 ep. 4 (1 - 4) Netflix automatically offers you season 1 - 5...but at the end of 1-7 it does not offer 2 - 1 and there is no way to navigate to it.

Perhaps only season 1 is streaming; did you see season 2 and 3 via DVD or streaming?

Netflix bugs me. I don't find their selection to be the greatest. It's good for watching things you know you want to see, but we have horrible luck just browsing through their stuff.

Have you tried browsing not by what they offer to you, but by 'genre' like comedy,Documentary, Horror, Romance, etc. ?
In their foreign section you can even browse by country.

Also if you rate each film you see over a long period of time it learns your preferences and suggests titles - I find Netflix very good at predicting what I'd like.
The ONLY thing I miss about my EX was his uncanny ability to select good but obscure films; He's now been replaced.

Thanks Kenny! We've tried searching by genre but I don't think we've rated what we've watched. That's a good idea, and hopefully we'll get good suggestions there (not that we need more to watch though! ). We've seen a bunch of documentaries that were pretty good.

I cannot wait- so excited!! Love Downton Abbey!! :appl:

I'm a documentary nut too.
It's not that rating will make you watch more.
It will help you watch better stuff.

There's nothing worse than pissing away 90 minutes on a film that was just soso.
Actually what I REALLY love about NF is I often watch 5 or 10 minutes of something and if I don't like it I'll stop it to try something else.
I'd NEVER do that if paying $15 to see something at a movie theater.

I am SO looking forward to it! Poor Mr. Bates!

It's been so long since season 2 ended that I feel I should re-watch the last couple episodes.

I buy the season on Amazon, then I can watch them at my leisure any number of times I wish.

One more day! We're in the zone! Yippee!

Oh my god!! So excited!

We love Downton Abbey.

We named our puppy Lord Grantham. Because he is dignified.
