I bought these in my hometown with the famous jewellery quarter, The Lanes. I grew up in this town and spent hours wandering the Lanes as a teenager, and later, during my lunch break from work.
These earrings were just the most amazing deal. This particular shop, Paul Goble, always had a lot of opal jewellery. I used to have some of his opal earrings on French wire but lost one. I decided it was time for a new pair.
So, I tried on a pair of drops that were just like this pair, but only single drops. They were 115 pounds. I then asked how much these double drops were. Same price - 115 pounds! I smelt a deal, so I took 'em! It came through as $175.00.
These earrings are absolutely stunning on, so I think they are one of the best bargains of all time.
