Haha, what a depressing title, huh! Anyway, I wanted to let you guys know that I went with my mom to try on dresses after my mini-freak out that Dora wasn''t going to work. I tried it on again and it was soooo lovely, and MUCH better with a bra! Haha! However, it just wasn''t flattering me as much as some of the others.

I tried on a bunch of others, and I really wanted to try on Lia, even though it is way unoriginal and I figured it wouldn''t look good on me. It turns out, that was the dress! So, I am Lia bride number 999,999

I''m sad about Dora not working since I''m in LOVE with that material SO SO much! But I will just have to live vicariously through Cj and Kara!! I am really stoked about Lia - I loved seeing it in magazines but never thought it would look good on me. Turns out it is actually really flattering, and not made just for tall, skinny girls (though they look good in everything! haha!) Anyway, i will hopefully be able to post pictures tomorrow evening after purchasing a new usb cord!

Yay!! I''m so glad you found a dress you love!! I am sad that that we won''t be dress triplets, but the Lia is gorgeous. Maybe you could look into that dotted veil that was posted a few days ago!!

And I agree with Karasue, since you really love that dotted organza fabric, maybe you can incorporate it into your veil, or maybe favor bags somehow.

But I''m sure the Lia will be just stunning on you, you have a lovely figure and it deserves a dress that highlights all of its wonderful attributes! So....just curious if you have any pics of you in this Lia dress? I''m not familiar with the style (old married gal of 4 years here, been a while since I''ve been involved in bridal gown shopping, hee hee)....

Thanks, Monarch! I have pictures on my camera, but unfortuantely the stupid USB cord is lost! So I have been having to use others'' computers and am hoping to purchase a new one tomorrow...as soon as I draf myself to Best Buy

From the looks of it on the model, it doesn''t seem like it would flatter anyone who is not stick thin, but I found it to be surprisingly flattering! And it made me feel tall (and I''m 5''3"). The Lia is a gorgeous style, Mrs. FPD! I love the back lines, and the trumpet skirt is gorgeous. I''m excited to see pics of you in it, I''m sure they will be fantastic. Even though this is really your second choice, I think it''s still the right choice so far...you''ve been a very patient and open-to-suggestion bride here and I applaud you for that. It takes a person with a very willing ear as far as criticism to come here and post pics of herself, as well as a gal with the courage to take that criticism whether it is positive or negative and run with it. I too am a HUGE Lia fan!! I must have tried it on 7 times WILLING it to be the one. I absolutely loved the back of it!!! However, it didn''t work with my ...ahem...boobage I love seeing it on other brides though, and I think you are absolutely right that it looks good on many different body shapes (contrary to what I first thought!!)
