can the collective Internet please stop spreading this? or at least laugh at it more.

Anyone who has eaten mysterious meat from a local Mexican taqueria or Chinese dish that had a name that didn't translate well knows that organ meat/offal tastes nothing like muscle or calamari.

Personally I find the story hilarious. I also thought it sounded very plausible. I was not grossed out personally, having eaten a lot of calamari over the years.
At the same time I was conflicted about people I know that don't eat meat- yet do eat fish- and calamari.

Usually, I see it called pork intestine. It's delicious from Taiwanese cafes.
