What''s the least stress free way to sovle this?

I know that the diamond seller should be the one to set the stone for safety and insurance.

Do I buy a setting from another vendor and send it to them?

Thanks

That''s one way to do it. If you choose that method, make sure you have the diamond measurements with you when you shop so the setting vendor can tell you if it will fit. Also, I''d try to get a decent return window in case the diamond vendor comes back and says diamond won''t fit.

Another possibility....tell your diamond vendor which setting you like (from elsewhere) and see if they have a way to source it for you.

Thanks I like your solution. After all buying a diamond should be FUN!
