Hey everyone, after months of waiting I finally have my gorgeous e-ring, BUT, I am a little unsure of the size...

During the design process, it was summer, so when I went to size my ring I was always a bit sweaty/clammy, not to mention nervous, and they sized me at a 6.5. Now, it is winter and cold, and so when I slid my ring on today, it seems a bit loose, sliding to one side or the other. Do you think it is just because it is winter? We will only be living here in cold Washington for a few more months, then we will be in San Diego for the next few years, so I''m thinking down there the weather will make my fingers more swollen again.

Does this happen with you all? Is your ring "bigger" in the winter? Or should I get this re-sized? The sample was a 6 and it was too small, so any change would have to be to a 6.25 if any.

Thanks in advance!

Yup, it is totally normal. I wouldn''t get it resized until you''ve been through a summer, then you can more properly determine if it''s really too big or not.

It''s definitely due to the temperature...my ring finger will go anywhere from a 5 in the winter to a 5.5 in the summer when i''m hot and my fingers are more swollen, so i have it sized in between at 5.25.

As long as the ring still fits snugly enough on your finger not to slip past the knuckle, i wouldn''t recommend getting it resized or you may be uncomfortable with how it fits in San Diego. Would definitely wait until you are there for awhile before making the decision.

Agree that having the stone slide from side to side for 1/2 the year (here in Chicago) is annoying though

My personal preference is to have my ring a like snug in the summer and not worry about it slipping off in the winter.

Mine is loose in the winter also. I just upgraded to a larger stone and it keeps rolling around its driving me crazy but I''m afraid to resize in the winter.

Could sizing beads or a horseshoe sizer help?

Yup, totally normal!! I''ve heard that a "perfect fit" is slightly tight in the summer and slightly loose in the Winter...that''s as good as you can do.
