Hey!

I got my engagement ring from WF... it''s beautiful and I love it!!! :) (Will post pictures soon...)

Anyway, I was just wondering... do your diamonds ever look blue in the sunlight? I know this is a trait of diamonds with flourescence, but it says on my AGS cert that the flourescence is negligible. I thought it was just me - but, it was the first thing my fiance and my best friend said when they saw the diamond in the sunlight.

Could it just be my skintone or something?

well cut diamonds reflect the colors in their surroundings quite efficiently. the blue you are seeing could very well be the sky.
here is a pic i took outside of a non fluorescent ''h'' color diamond....

yep my diamond can look blue in the sunlight, it reflects the sky. you can see it in some of the pictures i have taken and posted. i also have minor fluor but i don''t know that adds anything really. my old 1.6c stone showed blue in sunlight too.

kinda fun huh!

Yeah - it looks kinda like that, belle! :)
