What do you mean by "good"? A good deal? Is it a good ring? Diamond? Style?

yes is it a good ring and good deal?

Hi ReeNa,

Who is selling this ring, is it with an online auction? No full grading report such as GIA etc?

$3000 seems low for all those stones. I think we might be missing information. 1.90 ct surrounding stones is quite a bit since they seem to be of decent size and not melee.

I would have to agree.

Ree, something you need to understand, is that all diamonds are not created equal. Besides the fact that they can have different colors, and clarities, they have different levels of cut. By that, I mean how much time the cutter took to bring out the best in the diamond. When a diamond is cut to the right dimensions, it is a sight to behold, sparkles like mad, and makes you want to look at it all day long.

However, most diamonds aren''t cut to this level. The majority of stones out there were cut for other reasons, not for real beauty. Sure, they can be cheaper, and you might end up with more than you would buying a well cut stone. But what you will also most likely end up with is a lifeless stone. It won''t do much of anything but sit there.

Before you buy something, I would strongly recommend reading the tutorial section here. Learn what diamonds (good and bad) are all about. Then you can decide which is more important to you, size, or performance. For some, size wins, and that''s fine if you decided the same. But at least make that decision after being informed.
