Does this make sense? Looking for diamond as a newbie!!!

Would it be to get a higher table number like 57-58 and a lower total depth like 60-61 but still have it fall under a HCA of 2? Is G a white enough color in an excellent cut diamond? Ideally how large should a 1.4 round diamond face up size wise?
