Does this diamond look larger than it really is?

Hello from Texas!

Pricescope is literally a diamond mine of information and knowledge so I know I will get honest opinions and thoughts. I will start by expressing that I adore my diamond ring! I think it's sparkly and gorgeous and perfect for me. With that being said, I would like some opinions on our choice.

We were looking for half carat to 5/8th carat and we decided on this:

Carat weight:0.66
Certificate:GIA
Color:D
Shape: Princess
Clarity: VS2 Cut:
Depth %:69.30
Girdle: Thin - Slightly Thick
Table %:74.00
Culet:None
Polish:Excellent
Symmetry:Excellent
Fluorescence:None
L/W/D (mm): 5.03*4.86*3.37
L/W Ratio: 1.03

People think it's larger than it really is and the dimensions of the stone are closer in similarity to stones of a larger carat as well. Am I seeing things correctly or does this stone look bigger than what it is? Is it shallow or is the table too large for the stone?

We paid $2260 and it was appraised at $4000.00

On my hand (size 7 but I get ring spin so probably more like 6.5):

Thanks for looking and I look forward to reading what you all think!

It is a good size for its weight.

Are you happy with it?

Hi Julie!

Yes I love my ring, I enjoy the beautiful simplicity of it! I was only wondering if others thought the dimensions of this particular diamond seem larger than others of the same carat weight. Just curious is all...definitely not rethinking our choice!

Thanks for replying, it looks like no one else wanted to! :))

It looks beautiful on you! I rarely see a princess stone so I can't comment on the size.
