does the pavil sparkle?...

when i hold my loose RB with a tweezer, and and with a halogen light in the room, as i turn the stone, i see fire from the back side and along the edges. is this common?

Of course, the purpose of facets is to act like tiny mirrors and reflect light back at the viewer so diamonds do tend to reflect light from all angles.

thanks R/T, so with the culet pointing towards my eyes, and i see sparkles along the girdle edge, and around the pavil is normal, right?
