well, now that i FINALLY have my own modern cushion on my finger, i can wholeheartedly second what MMM said . . . this freakin'' thing is like a DISCO ball. after seeing so many beautiful RBs here i started to worry that my own stone wouldn''t be up to par in terms of brilliance . . . but WOW. it sparkles its little a$$ off!

i went through mark too and i can''t recommend him enough. (in fact, right now i want to HUG him! i am so pleased with my stone.)

it was so very romantic, and i am so thrilled to be engaged to my sweetie. this is a very happy time for us.

please don''t hate me, but we are in california so i won''t be able to post pics or proposal details until i get back home . . . which won''t be until . . .

hi! yes, we did get engaged out here . . . i''ll put the whole drawn out story in my post when i get back, but essentially brad kidnapped me when we got off the plane on saturday morning (i thought we were headed for the W downtown, which is where we were being put up for our interviews) and took me to the most beautiful resort on the ocean about 40 minutes north of san diego, in laguna beach. it''s called the montage--have you heard of it? it was the most romantic place i''ve ever been!

we spent the day relaxing and then we went for a walk to see the sunset and he proposed on a cliff overlooking the water. it was perfect.

sorry, i''m STILL swooning about it . . .
