I am excited to smell this stuff. Can you please describe the scents in detail (I know Lorelei likes that) and I am super curious too

Did you do 2 day shipping? I went for the free shipping but I should have gone for 2 day because this waiting is for the birds. chirp chirp!

Ooh - I love that one, its so light and sweet, and the honey gives it just the right amount of "richness" IMO - I think its perfect for daytime wear in the Spring and Summer

I love rose smelling scents also, but this Jo Malone made me.......nauseated. But one of my GF''s loves it!

Skip ~ Nope, I just did standard shipping. I guess I just got lucky! LOL! The only ones I've tried so far are the Nectarine Blossom & Honey and the Red Roses. I liked them both, but NB&H is definitely my favorite out of the two. It's very light and fresh, and kinda fruity. It's much more "nectarine" than "honey" if that makes sense . . . and it's very light, not too strong or overbearing at all. The Red Roses one is very rosy-smelling at first, but as it dries down there are other florals in there I think. I really do like them both!

Amber ~ EXACTLY! Skip, ignore what I said about the NB&H above and just go with Amber's description! LOL! Unfortunately, I can't tell you what DH thinks of any of them yet . . . he has a cold so he can't smell anything right now!

Sharon ~ Sorry you didn't like it! With that one, a little definitely goes a long way. It's pretty strong . . . much stronger than the NB&H!

Amber ~ Definitely give it a try! Like I said, I'm usually not a rose perfume person, but I really do like this one! Maybe just get one of the little sample vials and see if you like it . . . if not, send it to me!!!

ETA: Ladies, I'll post descriptions in this thread each time I try a new one. Sorry if my descriptions aren't great, though . . . I'm new at this whole perfume thing!

I love Jo Malone perfume, not just the scent but I am a sucker for pretty packaging! I just wish it wasn''t so expensive here in Australia! I wonder if the online store is the cheapest place to buy?

Smo ~ Yes, the packaging is GORGEOUS! I had to laugh when you said that . . . I am notorious for throwing things away (I can''t stand clutter). I had been planning to just pitch the box they came in and keep the bottles sitting on my dresser. But, I COULDN''T DO IT! The box was just too pretty! I even kept the little black ribbon wrapped around the box! LOL!

I am currently wearing Orange Blossom and I love it! My labmates tell me they know when I am in the lab because they can smell it! At first I was embarrassed because I thought if they could smell me coming I was probably dousing myself with it but they told me they just like the smell - even the guys!

Next on my list is Red Roses...

OMG...just found this thread and LOVE it!!! I LOVE Jo Malone!! My personal fav is "White Jasmine & Mint" - it is the only fragrance I''ve found that I can wear everyday and don''t get sick of...have you tried it yet? If it didn''t come in your sampler, I would highly recommend getting your hands on some!

To me, I guess it is more of a spring/summer scent, so I''ve been trying some new ones. An awesomely generous lady at Neiman''s gave me samples of every single fragrance when I bought my "White Jasmine & Mint" - so I have been having fun lately! My new fav is Pom Noir. I wore it this past Thursday and, not to be too cliche, but a guy I''ve never met suddenly bought me flowers! Was it the Pom Noir...or me just feeling fabulous wearing it, and a guy noticing??? Ha ha! But, seriously, he was a checker at Trader Joe''s and was doing a little "random act of kindness." How special I felt to be the recipient, and now, Pom Noir will always remind me of that.

Jo Malone fragrances are yummy!!!

Amber ~ I totally agree . . . all the Jo Malone''s I''ve tried so far have been VERY wearable! They''re not too strong or too "formal" smelling if that makes sense. Granted, I''ve only tried three of them so far (Nectarine Blossom & Honey on Friday, Red Roses yesterday, and Sweet Lime & Cedar today), but I get the feeling all of her fragrances are that way . . . which is awesome!

Lorelei ~ Yep, I have the Sweet Lime & Cedar on right now. It''s very nice, but I''m not loving it as much as I loved the Red Roses yesterday, and DEFINITELY not as much as I loved the Nectarine Blossom & Honey on Friday. It''s still something I would wear, though! So far, I''m smelling very little "Sweet Lime" and a lot of "Cedar." Not that I dislike the smell of cedar, but I''m more of a fruity/floral person than a woodsy person, if that makes sense. I''m kinda glad I only have the small sample size of this one, and that it''s not one of the ones that came as part of my set. It is nice, though . . . I definitely plan on wearing it again, and maybe I''ll try layering it with some of the other ones!

Rock ~ I keep hearing about that White Jasmine & Mint . . . I''ve GOT to try that one!!! Unfortunately, it didn''t come as part of my sampler. I wonder if there''s anywhere online were you can buy just the little sample vials?

Irish - there''s a website where you can order different sized sample vials of a lot of different perfumes, including Jo Malone, it''s called The Perfumed Court - I ordered some travel sizes of my favorites from them and was very pleased - definitely worth a shot to try out some different scents

Ooooh! I''ll have to check out The Perfumed Court. You can buy individual samples from Lucky Scent, and you can choose some free ones with purchase, they have other fun perfumes, but no Jo Malone. *sigh*
