does anyone know how to get a better deal at robins brothers

So i go into yesterday and am told that they are a new company and dont do Tier (Coorporate) pricing anymore. My GF wants the ring below, but I would like to have it for a cheaper price or from somewhere else.

I just looked around a little and don't really see anything like that setting. You aren't going to save a lot on a setting like that because many diamond settings are priced similarly. If that is the one she really loves, then I'd just get it. But I wouldn't buy the center stone from them because you can get a better quality princess stone at a better price from one of these vendors such as Good Old Gold, WhiteFlash, or Brian Gavin.

I think Simon G has similar styles but it won't be cheaper though would certainly be better quality than SI2 sidestones. That price seems pretty fair if the workmanship and melee are good quality which it's hard to say from a stock photo.

I wouldn't like the SI2 sidestones at all. The price for the setting is very reasonable otherwise. I would ask how much higher clarity
sidestones would be. They may be fine but it would be a mind clean thing for me. If that is the one your girl has her heart set on,
I would get it. Most of us here have found multiple settings that we love, so maybe she would be interested in looking online.

so from what people have said the ring price isin't terrible, and from what robbins brothers said they dont lower prices so i guess it is what it is. we originally went to see it in early october and she found it, i've noticed her looking at it here and there online over the last few months. now i took her back sunday to see if she felt the same way and talk about the price more and she loves it and said it is for sure the one. It has alot of detail to it but I dont know how to tell if the work is quality, I will email the salesman and ask if theres any option for better diamonds on the side. but that would also make the ring cost even more than now.

we have decided to go with a CZ as the center stone for now, but will upgrade on our 5 year anniversary. man I just really need robins bros to have a coupon or sale, which they dont ever.
