Does anyone here know how to photoshop what a possible upgrade will look like?

The measurement on my current stone is Measurements: 5.35-5.20X3.69 (2nd photo)
https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-ring-i-finally-have-pics-yay.56892/

I wanted to see how much of a visual difference I will see if I replace my current stone with either of the ones below. Can anyone do a photo shop comparison for me? Thank you so much!

I am looking to upgrade to:

http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/2436/
Width: 7.73mm
Length: 7.12mm
Depth: 5.00mm

or
http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/3096/
Width: 8.18mm
Length: 8.35mm
Depth: 5.73mm

I thought I had edited this to include my other choice:
Option #1
http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/2773/
Width: 6.46mm
Length: 6.49mm
Depth: 4.36mm

and the other 2 are options 2 and 3, respectively. 3rd being my ideal choice and the most. If visually there isn''t that much of a difference between my current stone and option 1 or option 1 and 2 or 3, I may not upgrade, but I still wanted to see what it could be. Once again, I thank the person who can do this photoshop comparison for me!

Hi Silver,

You might see a bit of a difference with 1, not sure, but definitely the 2nd and 3rd options will be visually larger. I would say it''s worth it.

As for someone photoshopping, Irina (Admin) is gone now, she was the expert. I think there are a couple posters who might be able to take a stab at it IF they see this.

Hi Ellen,

I''ve only had my ring for less than a year and I''m already feeling shrinkage issues. However, we started making wedding plans and opted for a smaller and more intimate wedding so I talked to Fiance and mentioned, why not upgrade since we aren''t spending as much as we had originally planned for? I do feel guilty about upgrading so soon.... but not that bad

and only if visually it would be worth it.

Hey, if you''ve got the cash, go for it! And the bigger the better.

Really, do it now, it may not be feasable later, and you want to love your ring.

Ellen,

I was thinking about wedding pictures and all and how the photographers usually take photos of the couples wedding rings...so...I figure an upgrade in later years will not show up on wedding photos. When I told Fiance, I wanted to upgrade, he said "I knew it", my argument was that we are getting married on our 5 year anniversary so...in another 5 years I''ll ask for an upgrade, so why not do it now when we are both debt free and no kids yet?

It''s either an upgrade or lose weight and have very skinny fingers. Hehehehe

LOL, sorry couldn''t help it.....

iwannaprettyone,

Thank you! I absolutely appreciate that! But I do feel that something that size will be too heavy and too overpowering. I don''t think I want to go any bigger than a 3 carat. My coworker has a 5 carat princess and well... it was very overpowering, but it suits her personality and style, it''s perfect on her. IF option 3 looks too big, I might go for option 1 or 2, I like one the best for it''s megascope report, ideal on brilliance, fire and scintillation...I like option 3 for it''s size, but if its too big, then its size will work against it.

Once again, if you can photoshop the comparison, I will absolutely appreciate it and love it!!! Well, it''s off to work for me. I''ll check back in 12 hours.

Thanks you!!! Thanks you!!! Thanks you!!!

I say go for the 3ct if you can afford it... maybe then the next time DSS sets in it will be much later

I have to say, the price range of those three stones is $7000 to $35,000!!! What is the maximum you want to spend? There''s quite a bit of difference in these three stones and your original.

Yep, that just might last til the kids are grown.

diamondseeker,

My ideal price was no more than 15k, but I would go higher if it was worth it. However, thanks oh so very much to iwannaprettyone, I think the 7mm will work fine for me, 3 ct looks quite big. Plus, I don''t want my mom getting on my case about money - mom raised me to be frugal but it never stuck. Oh well...

It is our money and Fiance is ok with it so whenever he wants that racer, I told him, hey...fair is fair, he wants to drive the money, I want to wear it. I may not get the one from GOG as I just noticed that the width/length ratio will make them appear more rectangular versus sqaure....

Ohhh...iwannaprettyone... was there much of a difference between now and the Width: 6.46mm
Length: 6.49mm, Depth: 4.36mm? Just curious since I do like it''s megascope and it''s w/l ratio made it an almost perfect square.

Thanks again! Once, I get this one, it will have to do for long while since we have plans to have children in a few years.

Thanks again everyone!

it was about 19% new-old/old=*delta*
