I don't have any but it intrigues me
I see them pop up on antique road show every now and then

end of day always seems to be a popular colour

I guess you meant jewellery though

I only learnt about bakelite recently when I met a collector. I didn't know jewellery was made from the stuff but it makes sense! It has an earthy colour and would be durable and light!

I have bakalite door handles (they are worn out and pretty sh#t)
The insulators on power poles were made out of bakalite and also early telephones

Im jewlery its highly collectible
But ive never actually seen any in the fresh

it was all the bits left they threw in together

I just bought a vintage butterfly brooch that has some parts that reminded me a lot of Bakalite. I don't know if it is but they do have that look IRL.

I see some every now and then on Etsy and am intrigued by the colours, but since I don't know what I'm actually buying, I've always been too wary to go ahead.
