Does a bezel with a halo make your stone smaller?

IYO does a bezel with a halo- no airline make your stone appear larger or smaller? I'm just curious if the addional framing may take away from the stone?

I think it depends on the size and shape of the center stone. What are the specs on your diamond?


ETA: Per your other threads, you have a 2.5ct OMB? In that case I really wouldn't worry about a bezel negatively impacting the apparent spread of your diamond. And with a halo, it should look great.

Thanks drk14- I hadn't considered it, but it was a suggestion by friend who has one...so thought I would ask. Thank you for responding!!
