Hello PSers,
I wanted to thank you all for your time and advice in helping me through a diamond purchase. See my original post here: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/feel-like-im-getting-screwed.95560/

The jeweler was trying to sell me diamonds that were a color grade lower than I requested, only had "good" polish, symmetry etc, and were so bad on the HCA they didn't even register because the girdle was so thick (even though one of them said Tolkowsky Ideal Cut). I have learned so much from this site and am giddy about how much prettier my diamonds will be because of what I've learned here and the advice you've given, so THANK YOU ALL!!!!

I just love posts like this. It makes it all worth it knowing you have spent time searching for stones and helping others and then they are really happy in the end!!!!

Don''t forget to come back here with pics!!! They are the only thanks we need

I'm so glad you learned better Shari - yay for PS!
As was suggested in your other thread, do you think you will notify the Ins Co of the dodgy deals going on at this jeweller?
Personally, I would want them reprimanded so the wool isn't pulled over others' eyes..

Yes, I have already notified my agent saying I had a horrible experience and would advise him to remove them from the list. I also plan to call the owner to let him know my feelings about his sales rep, as well as the fact I suggested they be removed. Maybe he knew about the diamonds she chose for me, maybe he didn''t, but hopefully she''ll be reprimanded and no one else will have to go through what I did. Praying on the innocent like that, it''s disgusting. Knowledge is power!
