Do you use the 'New Posts' button?

I can't remember if there's been a similar thread on this, but @AGBF's comments on a thread here in Hangout, that she doesn't go in the Rockytalky section, made me wonder - do many people use the 'New Posts' button at the top of each section of the forum (which brings up new threads in all sections of the forum) or do most people just go directly to the sections of the forum of most interest to them?

I personally always use the New Posts button - sometimes interesting things pop up in different sections I don't usually visit :))
 
Yes that's the main button I use. That and Hangout and occasionally Rocky Talk.
I frequent Hangout the most but like to check out New Posts and Rocky Talk too.
 
Yes! This is my main button, too! I couldn't live without it!
That way I can see what's going on in all the forums, and what people are talking about.

I use the "New Post" button all the time, as I am interested in all new posts and not just in a particular section. I then choose what I would like to read from the list.

Never. I just check what's the first few posts in CS and Hangout.
 
Always. This is a flawed poll. By default, you would only get responses by people who use the button, and those who visit Hangout directly. Not sure how much that will tell.
 
I always end up hitting it by accident when trying to post a new thread, no idea why??

Not really using it though, I just go through each forum and scan the latest threads to see if anything looks interesting.
 
Not on Pricescope, but I do on certain other forums I participate in. Here I go directly to the few sections I read.
 
I manually click the forums. I didn't even know the function of that button, and I've been on PS nearly two years :lol-2::oops2:
 
Never use it. I just look at the forums I have interest in, to see what's new.
 
I use it on other forums, but not here. I prefer to select the forums I'm interested in and peruse.
 
I do use it too. Almost exclusively. I like it because it take me to areas of PS that I would not normally visit.

I confess I just bleeped over it; i wasn't even aware of its existence. I tend to go to the sections of the forum that interest me.

But every now and then i do look at the fashion jewlery and the pearls incase I've missed anything

Never, I just look at the latest posts in each section and read the ones that catch my attention.
 
No, because I didn’t know it existed, lol. Going to use it now though!

I do. I hated it at first but now I would be sad to lose it!
 
Yes. Love it. If I want to deep dive in other forums I do that too.
 
It's my main way of accessing PS! I'll occasionally go looking in specific forums but I always start by scanning the New to see if any of the thread titles look interesting.
 
I've never even noticed it, but now I know it's there I don't think I can live without it :lol:
