Here is a pic of my wife's engagement ring which was actually a gift from my father to my mother for my birth (so 33 years old !). I have to get the ring cleaned but I'm also wondering if the sapphire (unheated pretty deep blue, quite a lot of silk, around 4.5 carats) would gain from a repolish : somes facets do look really abrased. What do you think ?
