Do YOU think eternity settings or tiffany setting makes a large center stone pop the most?

Tiffany, no diamonds to take away from the center stone!

I''m a simple "no side stone" girl, so if I had to choose, Tiffany. However, Tiffany is TOO plain for me too...Basically I like uniquely shaped rings with no side stones.

I like a plain shank with a solitaire. It does allow the diamond to be the star, IMO. I do love diamonds on the wedding band, though!

I love both the shared prong settings and the classic solitaire!!! I really wish I could have one of each!!! My BF must think I''m nuts.

I think a plain solitare paired with either a plain or diamond wedding band makes a diamond look bigger!

Yea, I got to go to Tiffany this weekend and try on different sizes and it was so much better than I expected. The classic solitaire paired with the 3 pointer eternity band was GORGEOUS!!!

I tried on a 2.38 and the saleslady (after being asked) actually told me that it looked too big! Is that weird?

What size is your finger? I vote the plain soli. You can have so much fun mixing it up with different bands. I really love the look of a plain soli and a plain band, also the plain soli with the diamond band. It''s good to have choices!

My finger size is a 4.5. Okay, the 2.38 definately looked substantial but I really thought it looked GREAT!

And I agree....I LOVE the idea of switching up the wedding bands! That could keep me from getting bored! hehe

even if im a halo girl...

between these two options i would go with the tiffany style, it does make the stone pop like crazy. unless the side stones in the eternity are melee then i would say the eternity style.

definitely the tiffany setting. I think that it definitely makes the centre stone pop more.

tiffany

I used to think that a solitaire made the diamond pop the most, which is why I chose mine. But, now I think that subtle sidestones really help make more of an impact. My current favorite setting is BlingItOn''s, with microset sidestones.

I think a thin shank (under 2 mm) and a delicate crown makes the center stone pop the most.

I think a Tiff setting would be more flattering.

I think both. It depends on the size of the stones in the eternity setting. Lynn B''s ring is a good example of a round that pops beautifully amongst eternity side stones.

...and the solitaire will pop for sure.
