Do you think an "I" cushion would be yellow?

How yellow? :)

I think it might be creamy/a bit brownish-yellow rather than truly yellow...

But I don't think it would be super noticeable unless you were looking for it, and even then you probably would really notice it only on the sides...

Well, I happen to have an I color cushion and I think it''s surprisingly white... click HERE to see pics!

NO! If it is a legitimate I it will NOT be yellow.

Wink

My princess is I color and there is no yellow at all

What carat weight are we talking about?

My mother''s 1.01 cushion is an H and faces up the same as my 1.03 F.

It would be about .75ish. Hm. May set it in a 4 prong solitaire setting. Just toying around with the idea... I already have an e-ring but I''m thinking of getting a "growing stone" one I can upgrade every few years or so, so when I reach 10 years married I can get my dream 2ct...

Most of the cushions I have seen on PS that are I''s are quite white, no yellow that I can see.

this past weekend, saw an i that was very large, and very white. no warmth.

Indipitty the type of cut of your stone will not show color as much as a crushed glass type cushion

The general answer to this question can be found in prices.
For most clarities in 3/4ct sizes in fancies - dropping H to I drops 20% in price.
Dropping G to H, or I to J is about a 10% reduction in price.

The market is not silly - so yes - generally you see a lot more colour.
Or should I say, you will notice the stone is not ppure icy colorless in a number of lighting situations.

I think if you set the cushion in White Gold or Platinum, you will not see yellow when the stone is set facing up. However, if you set the stone in Yellow Gold you might see some yellow.

I have an I and it''s quite white in nearly all lighting. In my car it has a slightly warm hue, but only from the side...From the top it''s very white.
