LCD/LED or plasma? what brand? 3D? are you happy with the TV?

my 23 year old TV in my family room is dying so i wanna buy a 60" Samsung LED/LCD but w/o the 3D function. i don't want to pay over $1200...

We have and LED and an LCD. One of them operates off of our wifi, so we stream netflix and all kinds of cool stuff in there, and don't have to pay for another cable jack (I have never understood that).

We have three TVs. All smart. Our newest one is a 55" Samsung LED flat screen. Paid $3800 including the warranty. I like it. We talk to it and it remembers stuff.

But damn DH wanted a smallll tv. I wanted over 65" but nooooo 55" is what we got.

We have 2. A 56' and a 30 something for a bedroom. They are both Samsung. DH is very brand focused when it comes to things with plugs. We love them. They are both LCD.

Oooo...that's going to be tough. We just got a 55". it has the 3d function, but we never use it. You can check out costco...OOH WAIT! They have a sale through today...hang on..not sure if you'd be interested in this:

We have a Panasonic plasma and a Sony LED. I personally like the screens on the Samsung LED TVs, but my husband said that sports look better on plasmas. Whatever, I just thought the picture looked more crisp on the LED. Both are smart TVs which is pretty cool since you can connect straight to the internet on WiFi and browse PS on a 60" screen. That would give you DSS for sure!

i have a 3 yrs old Samsung 40" LCD in my bedroom.in 1990 i paid $3075 for this 35" tube TV and now i don't wanna pay over $1200 for a 60" LCD...

We have a 46" (I think) Samsung LED smart tv.

We really didn't like the Samsung interface so we ended up with an Apple tv with bluetooth keyboard.

80in full-array LED Sharp. It's not the 3D version since we didn't see ourselves using that feature, but the TV is absolutely awesome. Also we often connect our laptop to watch any movies that we've downloaded.
