when I said the fathers are wearing the same shirt, I meant they match each other, but they don''t match my FI or the groomsmen.

here''s a close up of the fathers shirt

Hi there
2.gif
We got the men''s shirts at Macy''s. The brand is Material London. The pants are I.N.C. - I didn''t know that they even made a men''s brand.

Yeah, the invites were the hardest part. My fi''s mom is one of 7, so yep, not all aunts and uncles were invited. We actually sent out more than one round of invites. We didn''t want to send out 60 or 70 invites and possibly get 60 or 70 rsvp''s because we only wanted 40. We now have 39 adults and 4 children. We really didn''t want children but it would be hard to not invite them since everyone is coming from so far away (east coast and further). It worked out and I think everyone has gotten over it

I hope

Yeah I love my maggie and the price was right too. I think it was under $800! I really didn''t even know how much I was going to spend but I figured 1 or 2 k so that is soooo totally not like me to come that far under, haha lol

We live in San Jose. Not sure where Roseville is, we moved here in Jan from Atlanta. I met a bunch of ps''ers at the last bay area gtg, it was so much fun. Everyone was great!

Oh and our father''s are wearing the same shirt. It''s by Tommy Bahama and is a cream on cream w/ a fern leaf print.

here''s a pic of the guy''s shirts
LOL! First off, I have to say, I LOVE the little kitty at your feet looking up...how cute is that???

Roseville is east of Sacramento towards Reno...San Jose is about 2 hours away, so that is doable...maybe Happy and I can come down together for a gtg...since I''ve never been to one, that sounds fun! You''ll have to fill me in on the going-ons!

I like your shirts and pants...I think mine are much more of a lime/pistachio? color...and they are short-sleeved...I wanted long sleeves, but I just didn''t think that was very fair for the guys to swelter to death at sunset in the middle of July! We also got our dad''s the same shirts as the guys...we have no idea if they fit yet, but we got enough of every size while we could, so if those don''t work, we go to plan B...I have no idea WHAT plan B might be, but I''ll figure it out!

We are also going to say no kids, but for those who HAVE to, we understand...we are just trying to avoid all of the teenage cousins, etc... Someone on here posted a great idea I''m going to use...the "We have reserved X # of seats in your honor" and then, "___ of 2 or whatever will attend" on the RSVP''s. How early did you send your invites out? We''re going to try for sometime in October so everyone can plan...ugh...this is a lot of work!

That''s our baby Prosecco. hehe. he''s so cute! His brother is Cabernet and they are 6 months old. We are sooooo in love w/ them. We even have a pet nanny to come in and check on them when we are out of town.

Yeah you are kinda far away, but it''s worth it. Last time we all met in SF and did a ton of shopping. All of the jewelry stores were sooooo nice to us and since I love asschers, I almost had a heart attack when I got to try on Widgets TDF 4 ct asscher

We also tried on purses at LV and Ferragamo (sp?).

We actually sent our invites 1 year in advance. Kinda OCD but oh well. hehe. A ton of our guests are from the east coast and mid west and 1 couple from New Zealand so a lot of people have to plan and save for a while. Especially since almost everyone will be there for a whole week for vacation. We are getting married on a Tuesday so most will be there from Sat to Sat so it''s nice that everyone will be there and over their jet lag a few days before the wedding.

Your baby is precious! I am a huge kitty lover myself! Mine is pretty self-sufficient, though, so he just gets my brother every few days to check on him, and he adores my brother! It''s almost sickening...where is the love I ask you!??!

SF is a breeze from here...especially with advance warning! WOW...I can''t believe it...a 4-carat asscher??? I need to go check back on Widget''s thread!!!

Well, our invites aren''t even started...we just got engaged in July and we have to get married in the summer due to my school schedule. Since he proposed on my birthday, I didn''t want the wedding TOO close to that again, so we settled on the 22nd. Funny, we chose a Tuesday, as well, so that people could do a Sat. to Sat. vacation! Great minds must think alike!

I love love love love the dress!!! Gorgeous! Gorgeous earrings too!

Thanks Skippy!

I''d say you are all set - a beautiful dress and some gorgeous earrings. Congratulations.

Hi asscher,

I had a heck of a time getting pix of the guy''s shirts posted in my own thread, so I''m pretty sure I can''t get them to post here in yours!

You can see them next to my BM dresses HERE.

I really like your long-sleeved shirts...do you think the short-sleeved ones will look all right?

Hi Harleigh,

I think short sleeves are just fine, and those are great that you picked up. I''m not sure what the weather is like in July, but as soon as it''s about to be sunset in late April in Maui, the wind picks up and it can be cool. I figured our guys could deal with the long sleeves.

Hi asscher,

I think we''ll be okay...someone just told me that Lahaina is the hottest place on Maui, and at 4:45 in the afternoon, well, I figure they may melt! (I plan to provide fans...think that will help???

Thanks for your input! I love your shirts and think the long sleeves in April will work great!

So I had an issue w/ these earrings drooping forward a bit and took them to the jeweler. We started coming up w/ different fixes when she suggested these little white rubber tube things that you place on the post after it is in your ear. Kinda a p.i.t.a but it was free and now they are perky! I love them!

They are gorgeous - I had to come back and look at them. I did notice the droop in the first pics but it seems like the rubber stopper thingy fixed that right up! Still love ''em!!

Thanks FG! You''re so sweet! The rubber thing totally helped. And the solution was free, gotta love that

I still really want the bezel studs from WF like yours. Except i only want .25 ctw but like we dicussed before, the small diamond weight outweighs the price. I hope they start making the ready set go bezels.

Did I read somewhere that you are in the bay area too? If so, I hope you can make it to the next gtg.
