Do you just scroll to the photos

Do you read through the story first or just scroll to the photos in the "Show us the Bling" board?

Honestly, yup - depends. If it''s someone whose story I''ve been following I like reading the updates before going to the pics.


Otherwise I just want pics (and stats)! I do usually go back to read - or at least skim - if there''s a lot of text.

I didn't think any of the answer choices exactly explained it. But if the story is too long, I skip to the pics. Then I may or may not go back and read. If it's in SMTB, I'd post pics and just the facts, then farther down in the thread, I might post a very slim version of my story. I know people are excited about the proposal or whatever, but the Show forum, as I see it, is for pictures.

I agree with this actually. That''s what I like about the purse forum. They have a reference thread where you can just scroll through straight photos. I would love to see that happen here!

I tend to read the story, unless it''s reallllly long (like, 4 paragraphs long)...then I sneak a peek at the pics first.

I voted show me the bling but really, it depends on whether I''m familiar with the poster. If it''s someone with a longer ps history, I''m all about the proposal itself

I usually look at the pictures first..sometimes I make myself wait if they are photos I''ve really been waiting to see.. otherwise I look at the photos first but I always read the story too

I do - I admit it. But I backtrack I''ve gotten my fix and read the story that goes with it.

It totally depends. I usually look at the pictures first, then go up to read the story, but I don''t always read the whole story, which is why I said it depends. I think I''m more likely to read the story if it''s a ring that I find especially beautiful or that really speaks to me.
