Do you have a knowledgeable and helpful contact at JA?

Looks like the way this is going to come down is that I will probably go with JA since they have the setting that I like at a price that I like. They can order in one of those cyber-diamonds, and mount it for me.

Three questions:
(1) Is this a backwards way of doing the purchase?
(2) Does JA do pics, Sarins, ASETs, etc.?
(3) Who is the the best person at JA for me to deal with?

The guys at JA are a super bunch, and I believe any of them would be pleased to help you. They should be able to help you every step of the way with your purchase. I know they do offer pics of some of the diamonds, so you would only need to ask, and I am sure they could source you a lovely EC!

Josh has been there a long time and has got great reviews but I haven't dealt with him myself.
They do regular pictures and IS images and OGI scans.
The scans are useful for crown height and not much else.

I guess I am the only one who had a bad experience! I tried to buy a diamond from them for weeks. All I wanted to do was verify how eye clean the diamond was and no one could do that for me. They said all they could do was send me pictures and the GIA report and that was it. They also were not able to take a better picture of the diamond for me. After 3 weeks of dealing with them I turned to Mark and had a diamond in 3 days. I hope it turns out better for you OP!
