Diamondfan, I like the pave ring with white diamonds but white, yellow, and rose gold. And definitely the thinner band. I just think it''s such a gorgeous ring. It''ll be a looooong time before I can afford it, but it''s such a lovely daydream.

I am crossing my fingers. Hubby loved it, and they have one in my size at my local Cartier. The white diamonds pop against the different metal and it goes with anything. But it cannot ever be sized which is something to think about. But I still love it. He is saying he will get it for me but he is such a control freak that it could be next week or a year. But I am not complaining...

I really thought I would love the colored diamonds but I did not at all. Really looked too garish to me.

DS, If I get the Trinity I will post pictures if someone can help me! I am drooling over it. I even called the SA today at my local store to see if the inventory was stable!

He asked if I could come in, said they had a special diamond ring in for the weekend, being sent out to Beverly Hills Monday. I asked what it was. A TWENTY CARAT intense pink diamond, a cool 10 million. It was VVS1. Not sure of shape or setting but he said he had never seen anything quite like it. Maybe it will be J Lo''s push gift!!!!

I saw the trinity channel set rolling ring and I love that one; I have not seen the pave but the channel set sparkled like crazy!!! I would love a bellarina like AGBF.
I saw this facy yellow diamond by Precision Set that took my breath away and it had trillions on the side, yum! I love all the emerald cuts that are colorless in the Graff windows and all the ruby's, emerald's and sapphires in the Cartier windows. hehe Catmom (Michelle), reminded me of all the amazing Art Deco jewelry, now that stuff really makes me drool! I love so many vintage pieces; if I know someone or sort of know them and they have an old piece I always always ask them to tell me more about it. I just love the art deco, edwardian, oec, omc jewelry

I think you are right; I do like channel settings. I saw it and loved it so maybe someday. I did not see the pave though so I may change my mind over which is my fav. hehe Also, you have the long graceful hands so the pave would love gorgeous on you. I don't have fingers like you; I wish! I just saw the pave in the Movie star bling thread and it looked beautiful!

eta: I love DiaGem's unusal cut stones; they are so beautiful! Love the one Storm and dg came up w/in RT posted above! Whoa baby!
