Note: there is a correct answer. This is kinda like asking if my arse looks big in this.
Today I went to the local jewellery store (non-mall, small chain of three stores, and the guy has a bench although I'm not entirely sure how much of the work he does himself) to ask if something was possible with my new-ish stud earrings. They are .67 tcw and about 4.3-4.4mm for each stone. So jewellery guy and I are talking and I explain what I want, not very well, but he keeps asking questions and finally gets it (I should have asked for paper and pencil to draw, but now I know for next time).
I want drops to attach to my studs to I can slide them on or keep them off. Jewellery guy says, yes, it's possible, your studs are what, about .10 each. I always have something to say. I was speechless. After 3.2 seconds I recover, actually they are about .33 each. I mentally get over it and move on to talk about sizes for what I'm talking about, if it's possible, and turn around time. But I don't forget
So...
Do my studs just look small on me? I'm 5 ft 3 (4 on a good day but today was not such a good day). I thought they looked a good size on me. I thought maybe I'll move up to 1-1.50 ctw in a few years. Maybe. But I'm rocking the .67 tcw. I guess I'm not as hot as I thought I was, jeweller guy thought they were .2 tcw. Do I need to upgrade sooner than I thought?
