I imagine they do or that some dishonest folks have tried to doctor real ones. Is there anyway to make sure they are valid?

Thanks!

no doubt they exist. however, AGS and GIA have a website database you can search and verify the numbers. From there is a matter of making sure that the inclusion plot hasnt been altered, and for that you should e able to call them directly, speak with someone in the lab and they should be able to verify it for you orally, that the plot you are seeing matches the one they ahve, and then just check your diamond to make sure the inclusions match. Other than that it would probably get pretty unreasonable to do much more to verify it, though other reports\scans to recheck angles, dimensions, etc, can go a long way as well.

Thanks! Do you have the links for the online databases provided by GIA and AGSL?
