I am so confused with all this diamond information that has been posted.

Here are the stats on a proposed diamond:

1.33 ct
GIA XXX
H color
SI1 - eye clean

Table - 59
Depth - 60.2
Crown angle - 34.5
Pavilion angle - 40.6

What can you tell me??

Here is a picture!

I don't really care for MRBs but I like the fat arrows on this one. Have you run it through the HCA?

Yes:

HCA: 1.1

It is a gorgeous  60/60 stone with awesome angles.... supported by a gorgeous photo. I would buy it in a New York minute  unless you prefer smaller table. I've had both Tolk and a beautiful 60/60 stone and love both! Thats my 2 cents. Hope it helps ;))

I think (based on the picture), I looks nice too. But I was a little wary because it seems a lot of people bash diamonds with larger tables > 57%.

I have a 60/60 diamond like this one and my diamond favors brilliance, not fire. So I get more white flashes of sparkle than rainbow sparkle. I would have preferred a more rainbow sparkle effect personally but it is still a stunning diamond! Others can chime in on this.

That looks very nice. A lot of people say that 60/60 stone is not as fiery as a Tolk cut stone but my 60/60 stone with 34.5 CA and 40.8CA is very fiery, more than my Tolk proportioned stone so go figure. This is my experienced. I had both stones side by side and it out performed the Tolk stone. Had two guys who knows nothing about diamonds and cut look at the two stones and both thought the 60/60 stone was better cut sooooo........... I kept telling my husband, according to all the numbers/ knowledge and powers that be, this stone is not suppose to perform like this!! So I'm keeping it. But I say if you like the price, specs and photo then it is time to bring it in and judge for yourself. Attaching photos of my fiery 60/60 stone. Also of it next to the Tolk stone.

Beautiful stone! Table size is personal preference. What matters most is the overall cut of the stone and not one measurement. I would like to see the idealscope image, though. The magnified image looks great, but you can't necessarily see leakage without an idealscope image.

+1 to Idealscope image. Also, is there any fluor?

No florescence.

Unfortunately the ideal scope can not be provided.

Should that be concerning?

Thanks. I love it. It does not have perfect hearts and arrows but that doesn't bother me coz I have a H&A and don't notice it that much soo this saved me quite a bit of $$ and I am all for that.

Pricescopers loves our ideal scopes (IS). The stone I bought recently was from BN and they do not provide IS so like a good little pricescoper, I sent it to one of our highly regarded appraiser, Neil Beaty, to be vetted. He did an IS, Aset, sarin, H&A and just basically answered all my questions. Best $$ spent for my peace of mind. So it may be worth it for you to send to an appraiser if you can't get an IS from the seller. Or you can buy a scope and take a look for yourself. I have to say, the numbers are great on it and I think that stone should be an awesome performing bright stone.

Thanks for your kind words and good advice!

I'm only "worried" because I have read a lot about people so against larger tables percentages, but I suppose diamond cut isn't an exact science and it really comes down to how it looks in person.

I love pricescopes but I think sometimes too much info makes me have buyers paralysis. I am with the smaller table camp too because I love fire but the price, stats on the diamond and that I wanted strong/very strong flo, I just had to take a chance. Anyway BN has a 30 day return policy so all I would lose is the shipping back to them if I didn't like it.

BTW, who is the seller? Can you return the stone if you decide you don't like it?

It's a local shop who is importing it internationally. They said they would keep it if I didn't like it.

Well I would definitely have them bring it in but maybe you can get an IS so you can check for light performance. =)
