Has anyone ever done this or do you know anyone who has? I booked experience this for my husband''s 30th.

Clearly this isn''t something anyone with a fear of heights would enjoy (but neither my husband nor I are afraid of them!) so I''m really looking forward to this...but just curious to know what to expect!

TIA

I wish I could say I have. I saw that in a bride magazine and it seems AWESOME!

I saw it on E! one night and it totally planted the seed.

I was trying to invent something that he would never forget. Since we''re having a few people with us, I needed to keep it moderately cost effective (we''ll be in Las Vegas.)

I think I would be mad all night because I''m a clumsy eater. Coupled with the nervousness I will be dropping half my food on to people down below.

That TOTALLY terrified me when I saw it. Never gonna happen in MY lifetime!

eh-eh.

A friend of mine works for a PR firm in Chicago, and she got to try this out. She loved it!

Yeah, it''s certainly not for everyone...if you hate heights, this isn''t the right thing...but that isn''t a consideration for us. Although, I''m sure the day of, I''ll be a bit nervous since it is such an extreme dining experience.

What city did she try it in? As far as I know, it''s not here in Chicago (yet)

If your hubby is adventurous, he will probably love it!

I gotta hand it to you Italia. I'd be waaaay too chicken. I wonder, can you take pictures? If you can, you must!

What if you get a strong wind (it is Chicago)? I am picturing wine glasses being tipped over, people getting up, people losing shoes...

I might have to google this now.

PS-and what about a bathroom?

OK I found some pics.

(and it SURE doesn''t look like there''s a bathroom!)

Bia, they''re going to be doing it in Vegas, from what I understood. I am interested about the restroom though?? I got an email about these things about a year ago, but never looked into it. Now I have all these questions!!

That part I am not sure of, but it may have been Vegas after all? I''ll have to check; I just know she went to it and was raving about the experience, and I assumed it was in Chicago because that''s where she lives/works.

I''ve seen the pictures. Here''s my thought: Dear. Lord. No.

If, and that''s a big if, anyone could get me up there, I would literally count the seconds before returning to terra firma.

I'm afraid of heights- no way, no how am I doing that!

But if I wasn't afraid of heights- do they tie a lead to your silverware and glasses so if you drop it, it doesn't hit the ground? I can see me dropping my knife or fork and then what?

Okay, I''ll try to answer as many questions as I can -- and I can only answer the questions that I asked when booking it...

Bathroom Breaks...

You''re only up in the sky for a total of 40-50 minutes, so most adults can "hold it"...however, if its an emergency, they can lower everyone down in less than one minute. But, on a side note, how mortifying to ruin everyone elses experience because you had to pee? I''d just die. I, plan on holding it.

Droping of forks, knives, ect...

So far it hasn''t happened..

Drinks...

VIP experience (which is also the sunset tour) includes lots of champange. We''re going on the sunset tour

I could never do that! I''m petrified of heights!
But I can see someone who loves thrills would enjoy the heck out of this.

LOL.

You know it doesn''t sound too bad now that I know a bit more. For some reason, when you first mentioned it I was picturing the thing in motion. Come to think of it, I was imagining a hot air balloon type of contraption LOL.

I think it will be a great surprise for your husband Italia!

That's because they haven't had me as a guest yet.

(And never will! But it looks fun for those not afraid of heights.)
