Okay...

The headmaster called me this morning and was very nice and apologetic again.

Then he said before we talked about court cases or anything else he'd like to ask me what I felt would make a difference.

So I just said that the only thing I wanted was to work with a normal, reasonable human being and I wasn't interested in court cases or any such thing.

Hooray he says, that's what we hoped, so we've found someone else for you and we will do everything possible to make things as great as possible, but there maybe somethings that we can't because it's just impossible. He then names a whole load of things I have never thought of in a million years - like taking photos on top of the tower... um, yeah with my vertigo...

The witch has also told him a pack of lies - like that she never said I couldn't use the piano. Uh, so why didn't she say that when she was telling me when my piano could be delivered. Anyhow, my mother was then when she said I couldn't use it so I know I'm neither mad nor deaf!

Anyway, I just said to him that I really didn't want to start playing she said, she didn't say etc, and as far as I was concerned the only thing I really wanted was to work with someone else and everything else was water under the bridge and lets begin with a clean slate again.

He seemed very happy and then asked me for a whole load of advice on venues etc. I am going to put them together a whole pack with sample contracts, sample terms and conditions and everything else that I think should be in a venue pack - he was pretty keen on the idea!

So... I am OVER THE MOON.

I just spoke to my father - the 'rents were out all day. He's happy too. They were at some art lecture thing this morning and bumped into a friend who said that she knew the Witch and that she was the most horrible, vicious, unpleasant woman she had ever met and that she had been awful and horrible to this woman's husband (don't know all the details).

I don't think they have fired the Witch, but I reckon that she's on a final warning and me thinks that leopards don't change their spots!

If the Witch is still employed at this place, she may be vindictive enough to try to sabotage your plans so please, make sure that you check the week before the wedding and make sure things like the piano, are where they''re supposed to be! Just in case...

And I''d make it very clear that you do not want to see her at all and on the day of, she shouldn''t be on the premises because you know it will upset you to see her there and if she''s still employed there I wouldn''t put it past her.

Just wanted to throw those two things out there, though being an event planner, I''m sure you''re already all over both those issues! Good for you, BTW...

Both are sorted.

She only works part time and has absolutely no reason to be anywhere near - she lives a long way away as well. To be honest, I will be happier if she hasn''t been fired as she will be on best behaviour - if she''s been sacked she has nothing to lose.

I get the whole place from Thursday onwards so I should be fine. My parents are also offering to pay for a piano tuner for the school, so I know THAT will be there.

I reckon she has slagged me off to him in a big way, but I think they will find that working with me is a complete breeze. The new person is the school bursar who I have heard lovely things about.

Pandora! Yea for you! Honestly, I would have wanted her sacked, but at least you don''t have to deal with her anymore. Hopefully all of the drama is out of the way and you can concentrate on a beautiful wedding.

Hooray Pandora!!! Happy she''s out of the picture. I''m like others and was rooting for her to be fired, but as long as you''re free and clear from her that works as well. I hope any other people who have to work with her are as tenacious and "don''t take cr@p" as you are, so she learns to shape up!
