Just wanted to share my experience so far with dimend SCAASI. I''ve been chatting with Lexi for a few weeks about what I''m looking for in an engagement ring (budget, setting, priorities on the 4Cs, etc.) and she has been great ! I set my budget, picked a setting, and she''s narrowed the selection down to one diamond she feels is the best - I''m scheduled for an Innerview session today to look at it.
One reason I''m particularly impressed is that I told her I would be willing to increase my budget by approx. 15% on the stone if there happened to be a better option available at what I''d consider to be a significantly higher price point. She checked it out and said the diamond she''d already found was still my best option. On top of this, the stone she had in mind for me had already brought me in under budget. This has left me feeling very confident that she''s out to find the best diamond to suit my needs and not necessarily the biggest sale for dimend SCAASI. There was even a "G" stone available for not much more than the one we''re looking at (an "H") and despite the fact that it was an ideal cut, she warned against it as the cut was not as ideal as the ideal H we have in mind. She''s also preemptively ruled out some more expensive H stones I asked about because they were not eye-clean or as good of a cut, even though the cut was identified as "ideal" for all of them. At no point have I had even a slight feeling I was being upsold (unlike every B&M store I''ve been to in the past month) and there was no hesitation on her part regarding the stone she''d already found even when the opporunity was presented to sell a more expensive stone, which could have easily been "justified" to someone with limited knowledge & experience such as myself.
Call me sentimental but I''m not looking at this purchase as an investment, at least in financial terms. Admittedly not having the biggest budget in the world, my goal is to get the most beautiful stone & setting possible without breaking the bank. I absolutely feel that Lexi is on board with getting me the most beautiful, tension-appropriate stone for my money and the stone we''ll be the most happy with vs what might be considered the "best" diamond from a 4Cs perspective and a larger sale for her.
By the way, I''m looking at the TR-005 Gelin Abaci tension setting in white gold
