Hi Everyone,
I have decided on the diamond that I will be purchasing for my girlfriend, but I am stuck between two (very similiar) settings.

I realize personal preference is the main factor, and I am leaning a bit more towards Setting 1....but I would appreciate any feedback on potential pros/cons of each.

Setting 1:

Setting 2:

Diamond:

Thanks!!

I like the first one as well. It looks a bit more delicate.

I also like the first one with the surprise diamond. The way that stone is set is going to make it so much easier to clean the diamond with a little brush than the other one. I just think it has a prettier profile as well.

The stone is more of a 60/60 cut. Can they provide you with an idealscope or ASET image? I recommend checking light return on any diamond.

Thank you. I went with more of a 60/60 style cut because my girlfriend prefers brilliance over fire (she does like sparkle a lot too though, so I hope that isn't sacrificed like fire is). I should be getting the idealscope image of the diamond tomorrow...I will be sure to share, and hopefully get some PS feedback! :)

Even without the surprise diamond, I like the first setting best -- and super easy to clean your stone! Like your FF, I really like 60/60 stones as well... good luck to you, and don't forget to post lots of photos!! :))

They're both pretty settings but I'm leaning (slightly) towards the first setting. Cleaning will be a breeze, I like the surprise diamond and the side profile (I enjoy looking at my ring from the side, not just top down).

I didn't read the specs closely, I wonder why there's a price difference?
