Hi, first time poster, long time lurker
Anyway, I''m trying out an EGL diamond and I took it to an independent appraiser since I know they can be softer. Well, color and clarity cam out the same! And all the proprotions did too.. except the table! On the EGL it says it is 58%, but on the independent it says 48%.. this is a bit strange since i can tell it has a rather large table.. Do you think they could have made (gasp) a typo? Obviously such a huge leap in percentage would make a big diffrence on the cut quality. What do you think and what do you think I should say to the independent? Thanks so much!
