Hi all,

Did you size down for your comfort fit plain band? How far down? .25? .5? .75? I don't like wearing tight rings for sure so trying to find a happy medium. My rings are a size 6 which fits perfect in hot weather and pretty loose in cold weather. I like my rings to move around. Wanted to get a comfort fit band to add to the mix but am worried if the size 6 will be too big in this style. If you happen to have a 2mm is it that much more comfortable? This will stack with the bgd I just ordered:)

Thanks!

Btw. Jewelers always try and size me at a 5.5 but I refuse thinking that it will be too tight during summer swelling!

I would definitely not size down. Adding another band will actually make your rings fit tighter. It sounds like your current size would be perfect, since your rings are a tiny but loose in the winter.

I did not size down. In fact I got .25 larger so I can wear it on both hands.

I did not size down, mine is a little loose in the winter and fits or a little snug in the summer.

Mine are all the same size

Wow! So glad I asked the question before ordering. I think I read to wear .5 size smaller in cf styles somewhere. I will be stacking 2-4 rings so I will definitely get the 6.

Another question. I have ordered many times from e-wedding bands I have always been happy. Just curious if they are still considered the best in terms of quality and cost for plain domed wedding bands?

And thanks for the replies. I know these are boring technical questions!

I have several plain bands from e-wb and they're all very nice, and the e-wb folk really are great to work with, aren't they ::) They worked with me on finding the right white gold metal colour and semi-customizing a band to have exactly the right height/profile/dome - and the prices are fantastic!

DH lost his original band from e-wb (6mm domed heavy comfort-fit) and we wound up getting a local replacement (Benchmark). The Benchmark is clearly the better quality piece. The comfort fit curve is pronounced, which makes a big difference in wider bands, and the ring is noticeably thicker and heavier - and the price difference given the quality was actually surprisingly small, so I definitely wouldn't rule out buying locally..
