I thought it was sweet, and catchy since I've been singing it all day.
Since posting this I had tea today with a friend whom I sent the link to also. She liked it and sent it to a friend who has cats, and hasn't heard anything back. I said that I hadnt heard anything here either, and she said that it might be construed as mean. I hadn't even considered that it could be seen as anything but sweet, and maybe a bit too cute. I dont read any meanspiritedness in the songification either, I think those guys just like to songify things. Anyway I just wanted to speak up to make sure no one thought I posted this with malice. Look at that kittin playing the keyboard, how can that be anything but joy?

FWIW, I read somewhere that the pre-songified version was a fake eHarmony video anyway...so it's fair game IMO.

There's much more mean-spirited, supposedly 'funny' things on the net. I dont' think you have to worry

I think you have to see the original, which you have listed second, to get the 're-make'. I've had this song stuck in my head all day now.
