Granted I've only looked at the stone in my incandescently lit beige apartment (where everything is yellow tinted), but the more I scrutinize the stone I bought, the more I think the color warmth is noticeable. am i just being paranoid? i guess the I "nearly colorless" description gave me some reassurance when I purchased...

Your ring is gorgeous! Nerves maybe? Check it out in other lighting to reassure yourself. How long until you propose? :wavey:

thanks...hope she feels the same way..

plan is next weekend..

Waiting is hard and you're getting nervous but you don't have much longer to go. It'll be fine. Don't forget to come back with hand shots, ok? :wavey:

Unless you paint your walls white and have white clothes on, the diamond is going to pick up environmental color. I have an I color diamond and I know exactly what you mean. If I go outside into natural light, it looks totally white. In the sun it looks like a blinding flash of white light. In my car with tinted windows, it looks more tinted. I wasn't willing to get an F color stone and sacrifice that much size even though my original diamond was F color. So I am really happy with my I color stone!

Your ring is gorgeous! In an antique setting like that, it doesn't bother me a bit for a stone to not be totally colorless anyway. You would have had to go smaller to go higher in color, and I sincerely think smaller would not have looked nearly as good in the setting.

i didnt realize you had an I also -- thanks for the reassurance. means a lot coming from you.

Thanks! I am glad that helped!
