Did I make the right decision with this upgrade?

Hi everyone,
A very nice ring came up for sale last week. It was a Brian Gavin Cape Series Diamond
Here are the specs attached in the certificate
3.56 Carat M colour VS1, in an Anita Halo setting.

The only way I could purchase this was to sell one I had in my collection which unbelievably sold within 3 hours on market place. I had a 2.22 J colour Si2 solitaire, pic also attached. I got $16,000 AU for it.

I only had to put in another $500 to get the beautiful Brian Gavin ring. What do you think? Did I make a good upgrade ? I hope I did! What do you think of Brian Gavin diamonds specially the warmer colours? I realise it will show some tint but I just couldn’t resist as size seemed so much bigger and I was bored just looking at a standard solitaire.

My beautiful ring has arrived and I am obsessed with it. I honestly have never seen a diamond dance and sparkle so much. I’ve been a collector of diamond rings for about 10 years and haven’t seen one with such fire in my life. If anyone is considering a Brian Gavin diamond as their engagement ring you must not hesitate. You must see it to believe it!
I was thinking M colour maybe too yellow for me but I was wrong. The sparkle is so intense that it shows a very attractive colour in all lighting conditions. Now I understand why people say cut is so important.
