Hello I was wondering if I did well with this stone.. I have time to bring it back just in case I didn't I just wanted some opinions from some other people. The stone is on a ring now and I did give it to my fiancé witch she loves everything about it. Im just hoping it was worth the money I spent. This ring does have an amazing sparkle none I have ever seen before. Any help or comments will be great!

Did you ask for advice here before buying the stone?

The HCA score on this stone is 4.4 and generally PS'ers will only recommend a stone that scores 2 or less.

Was there a reason you needed VVS clarity?

If your lady is happy then that's all the matters, but to come and ask for an opinion after the fact may open a "can of worms".

I did not ask for any help witch I regret I didn't in a way. Im not familiar with the HCA score your talking about. The VVS quality was a quick buy decision.. :wall:

That's only because you haven't seen better, and there IS better.
I'd exchange it for a round with even better-cut.

Finding a round that is well-cut is easier than any other shape.
There's a simple 2-step process.
1. HCA https://www.pricescope.com/tools/hca
2. Idealscope https://www.pricescope.com/tools/ideal-scope

Get 4 numbers from the grading report
1. 61.9 Depth %
2. 60 Table %
3. 35.0 Crown Angle in degrees
4. 41.2 Pavilion Angle in degrees

Plug them into the HCA.
Reject rounds scoring over 2.0'
Get and Idealscope pic on those scoring under 2.0.
Compare pic to this chart. http://ideal-scope.com/reference-chart-ideal-scope-images/

Your diamond scored poorly on the HCA so the proportions are not optimized for the best light performance.

BTW, good light performance comes from good cut, not from good clarity or color grades.
Color and clarity are personal preference; they greatly influence price but may or may not be noticeable to you.
It's best to get out and see them in person, side by side.
After doing so and learning how they affect price you can arrive at the that grades YOU prefer.

J VVS2 are extremes.
I prefer grades that are more-similar like, G VS.
You are paying lots for high clarity of VVS but paying less for a J which has body color noticeable to many people.
I'd get less body color but lower clarity that's still eye-clean ... but again this is personal preference.

IMO a better-cut diamond is not personal preference kind of thing.
I believe good cut would be a universal preference if people saw good cut and poor cut side by side in person, especially if they could wear both diamonds for a few days in various environments and lighting conditions.

+1

JA is a great company, we can find you another (better performing) stone from them once we know your budget and preferred stats (color, clarity, etc.)

JA is great with returns and had LOTS of gorgeous diamonds to choose from. Come back and get some suggestions.
