Did i do the right thing?

Here is my story it is kinda long, but I am just really worried about what I did and would like some good, bad comments on what you think i did.Be honest. I have been wanting two or three shared prong round shared wedding bands with 3-7 pointer forever-well about six months and to me that is a long time. I finally decided to go with 5 pointers because that is in the middle,i then decided to go with 5 stone rather than 7 because of cost and a concern that when i put my fingers together with the 7 stone it would touch.(My ring finger is 4.5) I just want the stones to go across my finger, so you just see diamonds. So this is my problem. I wanted to go either with SP or Whiteflash, because they have what I wanted and I know there quality would be the best. SP was about 125.00 cheaper than whiteflash. So i would have gone with them, but when i told my husband what i was going to do he said for me to get rid of one ring that i never wore and then i could get these two rings. So what i did is went to a jewelr in my old home town to sell the ring on consignment, they said that if i traded in the ring it could be put towards another purchase. So i thought that would be great, i can get rid of the ring and get my rings too. I told them that i wanted ideal cut diamonds with h color and vs2-si1 quality. They said that they could do ti. But the coast of theirs rings were about 3 hundred more than white flashes, hoever i got a credit of 8 hundred if i bought the rings from that company on my ring (I was trying to sell me ring for 5). So i am now getting the rings that i wanted for only 5 hundred. I guess i am just worried about the quality of the diamonds because i want them to be ideal cut and the jewer agreed, but then he went on to say that his machine to measure the cut doesn''t go to a 5 pointer, but the company that he is buying them from says there are ideal cut. I just want to make sure that i got the best deal that i could and the diamonds would be sparkley. Does this make sense, is something wrong with my thinking. I have never ownd an ideal cut diamond and how do i know i got one when i receive the bands? I hope you understand. Help, I am just not sure that i did the right thing, i wish sp and whiteflash took old rings from people, i could sleep at night bettter

I think you will be FINE. You were wise to go ahead and trade in your ring that you no longer wear.

I had a ring made by my local jeweler a few months ago. I had him go with the top grade quality for the side stones which are .06c each. The small stones could not be more sparkly! Also, I looked at them with my hearts and arrow viewer and they all exhibit perfect arrows.

There is good melee out there. Whiteflash and SP have great quality but others also have access to great quality stones.
