Man, reading these forums can make you second guess in an instant if you made the right selection. I tried to get a good balance of stats while working within a budget (and went over it). Hopefully I did alright...

I usually get a gut feeling about things (even though my knowledge base is all of 10-15 hours researching online and I own no diamonds). I realize that BN doesn't offer pictures and certain other items, but I have had friends who had positive experiences and my interaction with BN has been great. GIA report is in the link.

Carat weight: 1.06
Cut: Very Good
Colour: F
Clarity: VS1
Depth %: 74.8%
Table %: 72%
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Very Good
Girdle: Slightly Thick to Thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 5.66 x 5.44 x 4.07 mm
Length/width ratio: 1.04

With this setting...

I was a touch worried about the crystals, but I spoke with a rep online and she confirmed it was eye clean from all angles. I just like having the peace of mind that it's a VS1 and in the colourless spectrum. I paid less than $6000 for the stone.

Anything to worry about? Or just wait and see what it looks like when I get it?

Thanks...

You pretty much have to wait until you get it. Princess cuts can not be judged by the numbers. Did the gemologist
say that it was a nice stone?

Edit - for fun you could go look at F/VS1 Very Good cut stones on James Allen. Your stone could like like any of those.

I only asked with their online chat thing if it was eye clean. I didn't ask if it was a "nice stone". I would just assume that they would always say they are nice stones lol once you get up into a certain range.

EDIT - Ya, the James Allen site is interesting. It's funny how some diamonds (that might be less expensive and "lesser quality") seem to look better. But again, I guess it's difficult to tell until you actually see the stone in the setting. I assume just because they look less "sparkly" online vs. a comparable or "better" diamond, may not translate how it looks in person or to your taste.
