Hey! This is my first post. But I've been reading on here for a while and have learned a ton of useful infromation. I've tried to use it to help me buy a promise ring for my girlfriend. But I would like the experts and very well knowleged people to check it out and see what you think. I got it from diamond.com, I know I know, should have gotten from whiteflash, basically everyone on here does, but... too many reasons and not enough time to say why I didnt. But I'm happy with my buy, I'm just ready for it to get here so I can see it in person.

Welcome! Your stone sounds very nice, although I don''t know too much about princess cuts. I think you''ll need to be careful how you set it, as very thin girdles can chip. So keep that in mind as you choose a setting. The color, clarity, and cut sound good, though! Post a picture when it is finished!

Yes, I have read that a thin gridle can cause chipping, but, I feel that because its a small diamond its not as big of deal. I mean, if it was a 1 ct. size stone with a thin gridle then that would be a problem. I may be wrong in my thinking, but.... I plan on setting it in a tiffany style
