Diastasis

Anyone have it? I was just told on Monday that I do. Dr. thought it was a hernia, so sent me to the surgeon who fixed my umbilical hernia, and he said nope, it''s diastasis. I had a CT scan just to make sure there was nothing funky going on, and it came back unremarkable. I go back to the surgeon next Monday to discuss the CT and further options. I know it can be fixed w/surgery, but if this is not real wide, I''d rather not put myself thru surgery. I just wondered if anyone had any experience w/it, or recommendations. I want to get my squishy self back in shape, and I wonder how much this will hinder me.

I have not gone through this, and do not know anyone who has. But I wanted to offer my support and hope that whatever decision you make you heal and recover quickly and free your inner rock hard body.
